What’s taught in Sunday School?

Sunday School lessons center on the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. It starts with the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Sermon on the Mount. For older students, it includes discussion of the Christian Science Bible Lesson and the power and practicality of prayer.

What is Sunday School all about?

  • It’s learning about your relationship with God.

  • It’s about discovering how spirituality is relevant to your life and how it fits into each day.

  • It’s an environment where you feel totally supported and learn how to see the spiritual truth in your own experiences.

  • It’s a space to talk with peers and friends to look for useful answers to questions and challenges.

  • It’s an opportunity to learn that God is Love, and God’s love is unconditional and powerful.
